Final fiscal year (FY) 2022 appropriations for the Department of Energy (DOE) and related agencies were included in P.L. 117-103. The explanatory statement that accompanies the Energy-Water portion of the bill notes that unless specified otherwise, the language included in House Report 117-98 and Senate Report 117-36 should be complied with.

This brief summarizes funding and other provisions related to appropriations for DOE and related agencies. It also highlights funding in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) for which states are eligible.
